What natural products can you use to exfoliate?

Can anyone give me some mixes that you can make at home?

How would you apply it without leaving a mess in your house? - like i read one: mixing olive oil n sugar to make a paste? would you sit in your tub doing it? and how long should you leave it on for?

Thanks =DWhat natural products can you use to exfoliate?
Depending on what kind of skin you have, or what you want to acheive for your face, you can use a few of these recipes. I don't measure - I just eyeball it. The consistancy should be...pancake batterish. It shouldn't drip once it's on!

Use brown sugar and mix it with virgin olive oil (don't stir the lumps out, and apply with your hands) for an exfoliator if you're NOT prone to have any oily spots. If you've got oily spots, then you'll want to use course sea salt (epsom salts work, but not table salt) mixed with a little honey and a little water (mix water and honey til runny, then add salts without mixing - apply to face with hands). Both of these, rinse off with warm water, then splash your face with cold water.

If you wanted a facial exfoliator that also firms, then you'll want to add a bit of plain oatmeal into the honey and salt mixture, and leave it on til it is almost hard (be careful, it'll pull hairs, so avoid eyes and eyebrows).

Combination skin exfoliator - sugar and honey with a little water.

I normally just wipe it on my face, and neck to the collarbones, with my fingers, wash my hands and wander around my house or read until it's grown uncomfortably tight on my skin (about dried) then I rinse it off. It takes a bit longer to harden if you're sitting in a warm bath, but it'll still dry, so you can have yourself a plain water bath (no bubbles - the soap will dissolve the mask!).

Welcome to refined pores, no flakes, and firmer skin! What natural products can you use to exfoliate?
mix in some brown sugar with your regular face cleanser. i read about it in a magazine and it works really well. you dont have to leave it on you can just rinse it off like you would with regular cleanser. if you want to use a mask mixing about three tablespoons of olive oil with a 2 teaspoons of kosher salt works well
I like mixing sugar with lemon juice and using an exfoliating sponge.
Just use a loofa or exfoliating gloves. Then you can use your preferred soap. Remember to moisturize immediately afterwards.
